Early drop-off from 8:30am and late pick-up until 5pm available: see varied pricing. Ages 6+ Lights, costumes, ACTION! Campers will unleash their inner stars as they collaborate to write, direct, and perform their very own mini production. From designing jaw-dropping sets to crafting costumes worthy of the spotlight, kids will learn all the behind-the-scenes magic of stagecraft. On Friday, the curtain rises, and they’ll dazzle friends and family with a show that celebrates every camper’s unique talent—because the spotlight’s big enough for everyone here! All our summer camps end the week with a camp party and a pizza lunch! Our camp schedule consists of 2 work periods where we make more detailed art projects. Students will also have independent time where they can play with their friends. We will include some outdoor play time to stretch our legs and burn some energy. Don’t forget to pack a water bottle and a nut free lunch and two snacks. Take a little “me time” at our New Mom Maker Mornings! Bring your (non-mobile) baby or come solo to enjoy a relaxing, creative session making sweet crafts for you and your little one . A cozy, welcoming space to unwind, connect with other moms, and get crafty! HOW IT WORKS: Your $15 booking reserves your seat and includes snacks and a beverage. Join Kathryn Boyd at Studio Mooi Toronto for a 2 hour creative exploration and learn how to throw caution into the wind for in this Alcohol Ink Painting workshop where there is no need to stay within the lines. Designed to provide you a safe and supportive space for play, relaxation and connection as you discover how you can create a masterpiece that is surprisingly easy and freeing. Alcohol ink is really about play and the creative process. You need very little ink to make a brilliant creation. Alcohol Ink is forgiving, even if you dislike the outcome you can always work with it to manipulate the outcome. Ready to plan your unique and memorable private event? How it Works Pricing: Private events vary in price based on craft selected ($60-80 per person). Please see our Private Events PDF for craft options and package pricing. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your event date and craft. Our Studio can accommodate a total of 25 participants in total. What's Included: - All crafting materials for your desired craft - Tableware (plates, cutlery, cups, napkins) - Table space for food and refreshments (not provided) - Use of our kitchen (including fridge, freezer, sink etc.) What do I need to Bring?: - All you need to bring is your nut-free food and/or drinks and guests. - Kintsugi for Beginners
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold, a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections. “You won't realize your full potential until you go through the tough times," In this three hour Kintsugi for Beginners workshop, Studio Mooi owner Tanya guides you on a life journey using the art of Kintsugi. The workshop begins by learning about the traditional practice of Kin (golden) Tsugi (joining) and then re-creating our own "golden joining" piece through modern techniques. During the workshop, we take a look at all the various elements used in Kintsugi and what they represent in our own life journey. Pottery will be provided. Please note: We do not recommend this workshop for pregnant or breastfeeding women due to the nature of the chemicals. Please Note: We do NOT offer repairs We provide the pottery for the workshop as there is a learning curve when learning the art of Kintsugi. Participants may bring their own pieces for consultation but will be using ONLY the pottery provided during the workshop. Epoxy used is NOT food grade. You will NOT be able to eat out of your finished piece. Completed Kintsugi will require cure time of 24 hours, but participants will take their pieces home the day of. - Make Your Own Vegan Soap
Join Kasia from Made by Me in our Cold Press Vegan Soap Making Workshop and learn how to create your own beautiful vegan soaps. Using only natural ingredients like essential oils, dried flowers, clay etc. you will learn the benefits of and techniques to create vegan soaps. At the end of the three-hour workshop, you will have created SIX bars of soap perfect for your own use or for gifting to loved ones.
