Workshop Description
In this two session Beginner Knitted Hats Workshop, students will learn the basics of knitting from the knit and purl stitch, to casting on and off and all the the hands on support to start you on your knitting journey. By the end of the second workshop you will have created your own basic knitted hat. Come and discover the joys of this timeless craft of knitting. WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 12+ (with a participating adult) or 14+ LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary MATERIALS NEEDED: 4mm/16inch circular Knitting Needles Ball of worsted/aran yarn (170 yards) Darning needle Stitch Marker MATERIALS PROVIDED: Pattern MATERIALS FOR PURCHASE: $40 Circular Needles 4mm/16 inch 1 Skein of Worsted Yarn (Colours: grey, blue or off white) Stitch Marker Darning Needle All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
