10/14/23 | 10am to 1pm Come block print a tea towel with us! In this three-hour workshop, you will learn about all things block printing – Sarah will share her inspiration and approaches to pattern design, and then demonstrate the basics of carving and block printing on fabric. You will have plenty of time to experiment with positive and negative space, symmetry and scale, as you design your own block. You will be guided through setting up your printing area and printing on a cotton tea towel – an ideal project for beginners and more experienced printers alike. WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 14+ (if accompanied with an adult). LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary. ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED Carving Tool Soft Rubber Brayer Screen printing Ink - Black, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Pink Soft Linoleum (4x6 inch) Cotton Tea Towel All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Cancellation Policy

Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
