In this 2-3 hour Jesmonite Housewares Workshop, we’ll explore the ins and outs of Jesmonite and walk you through the process of creating your own pair of coasters. This material sets up quickly, so you’ll be able to leave with your completed and unique items after just a few hours! Topics we’ll cover include mixing ratios, basic colour theory, wet sanding, and fun pouring techniques. Don't miss out on this opportunity to create something beautiful and perfect holiday gift. Please be sure to wear clothes you’re not attached to! Jesmonite pigments are extremely strong and will leave stains on clothes and hands WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 16+ LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary MATERIALS PROVIDED Jesmonite AC100 Coaster/Tray moulds 20 sample pigments (two sets of 10) Sandpaper Cork Disposable cups Disposable stir sticks Gloves Dust masks All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
