Workshop Description
Every Wednesday Nov. 5 – Nov. 26, 2025 | 4:00–5:30 PM | Ages 8+ Kids Cozy Crafting Club: Sewing 101 is the perfect intro to hand sewing for young makers who want to learn how to stitch, mend, and create with fabric—no machine required! Over four fun and cozy weeks, kids will build foundational skills like threading a needle, mastering the running stitch, and learning basic pattern assembly. Through small, confidence-building projects, kids will gain practical sewing know-how and a serious sense of pride in what they can make with just a needle, thread, and a little imagination. What’s included: ✔️ All materials and supplies ✔️ Step-by-step instruction in a fun, supportive setting ✔️ Beginner-friendly projects ✔️ Time to chat, craft, and connect with fellow makers Whether they dream of fixing buttons, designing mini stuffies, or just love to create—this club is sew much fun! Ready for the next stitch? Every Wednesday Dec. 3 – Dec. 17, 2025 | 4:00–5:30 PM | Ages 8+ Kid Cozy Crafting Club: Sewing 102 is designed for kids who’ve completed Sewing 101 or have some basic hand sewing experience and are ready to level up! In this three-week series, kids will take on more detailed projects while learning new techniques like backstitch, embroidery basics, and working with felt and simple patterns. Note: Sewing 101 or prior experience is recommended for this session. (see 102 listing page for sign up details) Sign up for 101 (or both 101 & 102) this winter and let's get "stitching"! Cancellation Policy
Parents/guardians are required to fill out Studio Mooi's Health, Safety & Liability Waiver before the first day of the program. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your child's participation in the program. Camps and classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the scheduled class time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Please check our Terms and Conditions for more details.
