Workshop Description
Every Thursday Oct. 9 – 30 (4 Sessions) | 4–5:30pm | Ages 12+ Cut, Paste, Publish – Collage & Zines This Studio Sessions: Art for Teens term is all analog – cutting, pasting, layering, writing and assembling. Teens artists will create original collages and zines that combine images and text, explore visual storytelling, and experiment with layout, folding techniques, and low-fi publishing. We’ll dig into the power of zines in activism, community-building, and personal expression. After the four weeks, teens will write, design and self-publish a zine. No previous experience is needed—just a passion for making art and exploring what’s possible. Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
Parents/guardians are required to fill out Studio Mooi's Health, Safety & Liability Waiver before the first day of the program. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your child's participation in the program. Camps and classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the scheduled class time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Please check our Terms and Conditions for more details.
