Workshop Description
05/23/23 | 6:30pm to 9:30pm In this three-hour workshop, Studio Mooi founder Tanya will teach you to create a unique embroidery hoop art piece using preserved, dried and pressed flowers. Part sewing, part gluing, you'll create your own beautiful flower piece displayed in an embroidery frame—it's a gorgeous addition to a baby's nursery, a child's bedroom, a collage wall, wedding or bridal shower decor, and so much more. During this workshop, you will also learn how to dry and preserve your own flowers so you can repeat the art project at home. WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 14+ LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary MATERIALS PROVIDED Dried flowers Embroidery hoop Thread and glue Tulle Silica to take home and preserve your own flowers Extra hoop and tulle to create your own masterpiece at home All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
