04/12/24 | 6pm to 9:30pm Join Mina Woodruff in this 3-hour workshop where you will learn how to needle felt a Woolly Sheep. Using wire, you will learn how to make the basic skeleton of a four-legged animal and learn the technique of wrapping wire and creating shapes to build your sheep. Finally, you will create a pelt using sheep locks to give your sheep it’s woolly look. Starter kits will be available for purchase. WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 14+ (with adult accompaniment) LEVEL: Intermediate, must have previous needle felting experience preferably Mina’s Spring Bunny or Heartstrings workshops. MATERIALS PROVIDED: Roving wool in neutral colours Felting needles of various sizes Finger guards Wire Felting mat Small scissors Resist molds All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
