Workshop Description
Every Thursday Jan. 8 – Jan. 29, 2026 | 4:00–5:30 PM | Ages 8+ Join us our Kids Cozy Crafting Club: Crochet 101 for a cozy and fun four-week introduction to the art of crochet—perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a fibre-filled refresher. In this Level 101 series, kids will learn essential techniques like chain stitching, single crochet, and turning rows, all while building confidence and creating handmade projects. This is a warm, welcoming space for young makers to learn new skills, get creative, and connect with fellow yarn lovers. No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and we’ll provide the rest! What’s included: ✔️ All materials and supplies ✔️ Expert step-by-step instruction ✔️ A relaxed, supportive environment ✔️ Time to socialize and stitch with new friends Let’s get hooked on crochet—one stitch at a time! Take your skills one step further: Wednesdays | February 5 – 26, 2026 | 4:00–5:30 PM | Ages 8+ Crochet 102 is the perfect next step for kids who’ve completed our Level 101 workshop or already have a few stitches under their belt. In this next-level series, we’ll build on the basics and explore new techniques like increasing, decreasing, and working in the round—plus we’ll tackle a bigger project like a stuffed animal, pouch, or granny square creation! Expect more yarn, more laughs, and even more handmade fun. Note: Completion of Crochet 101 or prior experience is recommended for this session. Cancellation Policy
Parents/guardians are required to fill out all of the necessary health and safety information in our booking form with accuracy and honesty. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your child's participation in the program. Camps and classes are non-refundable. Cancellations are not permitted. Up to 7 days before the workshop, registrations may be: - Held as a credit on file, or - Transferred to another workshop of equal or greater value - Both of these processes are subject to a $15 administrative fee. To request a credit or transfer, please email hello@studiomooi.ca with the workshop you wish to move to. Our team will follow up to assist. Within 7 days of the workshop, credits and transfers are no longer available. Within this 7-day period, you may send someone in your place. Replacement participant details (first and last name, email, and phone number) must be provided at least 48 hours before the workshop begins. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Please check our Terms and Conditions for more details.
