Workshop Description
Join embroidery wiz Daniella De Luca on a journey into the world of upcycling fashion! Learn how to transform clothing items into unique, one-of-a-kind creations using a multitude of crafts and skills like: * embroidery * visible mending * patching and more! This workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn new techniques, unleash your creativity, and make a positive impact on the environment by reducing textile waste. What you’ll need: A clothing item you would like to mend or revive. Maybe this is something you have in your wardrobe but just don’t reach for anymore, or an item with a hole or other damage. A denim jacket, pair of jeans, or cotton shirt is a great start! WORKSHOP INFORMATION AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 14+ LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary MATERIALS PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING An article of clothing to be upcycled (a pair of jeans or cotton denim shirt is a great piece to start with) MATERIALS PROVIDED: Needles Embroidery Thread Sample Fabrics and Ribbons Scissors Hoops Transfer Paper All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
