Workshop Description
Join embroidery wiz Daniella De Luca on a journey into the world of upcycling fashion! Learn how to transform clothing items into unique, one-of-a-kind creations using a multitude of crafts and skills like: * embroidery * visible mending * patching and more! This workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn new techniques, unleash your creativity, and make a positive impact on the environment by reducing textile waste. What you’ll need: A clothing item you would like to mend or revive. Maybe this is something you have in your wardrobe but just don’t reach for anymore, or an item with a hole or other damage. A denim jacket, pair of jeans, or cotton shirt is a great start! WORKSHOP INFORMATION AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 14+ LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary MATERIALS PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING An article of clothing to be upcycled (a pair of jeans or cotton denim shirt is a great piece to start with) MATERIALS PROVIDED: Needles Embroidery Thread Sample Fabrics and Ribbons Scissors Hoops Transfer Paper All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable. Cancellations are not permitted. Up to 7 days before the workshop, registrations may be: - Held as a credit on file, or - Transferred to another workshop of equal or greater value - Both of these processes are subject to a $15 administrative fee. To request a credit or transfer, please email hello@studiomooi.ca with the workshop you wish to move to. Our team will follow up to assist. Within 7 days of the workshop, credits and transfers are no longer available. Within this 7-day period, you may send someone in your place. Replacement participant details (first and last name, email, and phone number) must be provided at least 48 hours before the workshop begins. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Please check our Terms and Conditions for more details.
