Beginner Tatting Lace with Shuttle

Workshop Description
Join Tiffany of forgetmeknotTO and learn the fundamental skills and techniques of the incredible craft of tatting lace. Participants will learn how to use the shuttle, the basic hand movements to make the Double-Stitch and how to read a simple pattern to create bouquet of colourful “ring” flowers using the delicate and unique craft of tatting lace. Our tatting workshop is beginner-friendly and allows participants to walk away feeling comfortable and confident in their newfound understanding of the foundational tatting skills. WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 19+ (adults only) LEVEL: Beginner friendly *This is a great level-up from our Beginner Tatting Skills & Techniques workshop! PLEASE NOTE: Tatting is a technical craft that requires fine motor skills and patience. Get ready for a fun, fascinating and challenging new hobby! MATERIALS PROVIDED Instructional handout with the written/diagram pattern Tatting shuttle and thread Frame Optional (see booking options) All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know. BOOKING INFORMATION Your reservation is only complete once full payment is received. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable. Cancellations are not permitted. Up to 7 days before the workshop, registrations may be: - Held as a credit on file, or - Transferred to another workshop of equal or greater value - Both of these processes are subject to a $15 administrative fee. To request a credit or transfer, please email hello@studiomooi.ca with the workshop you wish to move to. Our team will follow up to assist. Within 7 days of the workshop, credits and transfers are no longer available. Within this 7-day period, you may send someone in your place. Replacement participant details (first and last name, email, and phone number) must be provided at least 48 hours before the workshop begins. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Please check our Terms and Conditions for more details.
