Workshop Description
PLEASE NOTE: Participants are REQUIRED to bring their own sewing machine. This workshop is perfect for those who have taken our Sewing Machine Basics workshop or are comfortable using their machines. Get ready for summer and learn the basics of sewing with your own machine alongside fashion designer and film theatre costumer Niki. Gain confidence using your sewing machine skills while creating a practical and stylish reversible tote bag; perfect for beach days, market trips, travel, and everyday adventures. Throughout the session, Niki will guide you through essential sewing machine skills, including machine setup, troubleshooting, basic maintenance, cutting fabric, sewing straight seams, and assembling a reversible tote. By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a finished tote bag and the foundational skills to continue your sewing journey at home. PLEASE NOTE: Participants are REQUIRED to bring their own sewing machine. WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: This is an adult open-age workshop suitable for ages 12+, however participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult. LEVEL: This workshop is perfect for those who have taken our Sewing Machine Basics workshop or are comfortable using their machines. ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED (except sewing machines) All of our workshops include tea, coffee, and something sweet. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know. BOOKING INFORMATION Your reservation is only complete was full payment is received. When booking for four or more people into one workshop, please contact us by email at hello@studiomooi.ca directly to receive at 10% discount. Workshops require a minimum of 4 participants to run; if this minimum not met, the session may be cancelled and participants will be notified accordingly.

Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable. Cancellations are not permitted. Up to 7 days before the workshop, registrations may be: - Held as a credit on file, or - Transferred to another workshop of equal or greater value - Both of these processes are subject to a $15 administrative fee. To request a credit or transfer, please email hello@studiomooi.ca with the workshop you wish to move to. Our team will follow up to assist. Within 7 days of the workshop, credits and transfers are no longer available. Within this 7-day period, you may send someone in your place. Replacement participant details (first and last name, email, and phone number) must be provided at least 48 hours before the workshop begins. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Please check our Terms and Conditions for more details.
